Hybrid drill bit is a composit bit, it is composited by PDC bit and roller cone bit.
PDC bit is always used to drill deep well and for simple rock layer,PDC cutters as the cutting teeth makes the PDC bit wear-resistant and have a long service life; Tricone rock bit is always used to drill complex rock layer, but in very hard rocks, the tricone rock bit is easy to be broken.
Consider this situation, we develops a new product- combine PDC bit and tricone roller together to drill water well. It is proved that this is a sucessful decision. PDC bit and roller cone bit has good performance in complex and very hard rock layers.
